Founder Youssri Helmy Returns to ITWorx as CEO
5 May 2019 – Cairo, Egypt – ITWorx announced today that Youssri Helmy who founded ITWorx with Wael Amin in 1994 and served as its Chairman from 1994 until the EuroMena Funds majority acquisition of ITWorx in 2007, has been named Chief Executive Officer.
A serial entrepreneur and investor, Youssri spent the last 15 years in Silicon Valley founding and growing startups. In addition to the EuroMena Funds transaction which he led, Youssri’s other notable achievements at ITWorx include spearheading the NetCelera spin-off and $43M acquisition by F5 Networks, creating, launching, and exiting LaserStorm and Otlob.com.
“During my time in Silicon Valley, I personally witnessed and participated in tiny ventures that grew to multibillion-dollar businesses.
