The #SuperHuman Edition
Are you keeping yourself updated with the plethora of Generative AI tools? Do you have an idea for a program or system that can creatively leverage the capabilities offered by this technology? Well, we are here to listen, guide, and assist (as always)! We are pleased to announce that this year’s edition of our Coded Summer Programming Competition will largely premise applicants’ abilities to develop a program/system that capitalizes on the nearly limitless possibilities of Generative AI tools.
Required Technical Knowledge:
While interested candidates are not required to have hands-on experience with any particular technical tools, it is – of course – a plus if you (or any of your team members) have working knowledge or hands-on experience with the following stacks/concepts:
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Bootstrap 5.
- Web front-end framework: Angular or React.js
- Databases (MS SQL server).
- Programming and OOP concepts.
- C# language.
- .NET Core.
- ASP. Net Core Web API
- Entity Framework Core.
- Python
- Node.JS

Who We Are Looking For!
Enthusiastic Learners.
Students of all levels (first-year students, sophomores, juniors, and seniors) majoring in any of the following disciplines with a minimum GPA of 3.0:
- Computer Science
- Computer and Information
- Computer and Information Sciences
- Media Engineering and Technology (MET)
- Business Informatics
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Include a complete description of your team’s idea in the application form!
1. Application
- You must apply as a team consisting of 3-5 members.
- You must fill in this application by providing your personal information and uploading a 1-minute video introducing yourself and your team in English and outlining why you want to join this competition. Record the video on any platform you like, then paste a shareable link in the application form. In the application form, be sure to include a full description of your team's idea!
- The application closes on July 13th, 2023 at 11:59 PM (Cairo Local Time)!
2. Competition
- Once you pass the screening process, we’ll provide you with all details needed to work on the application, including the Web Application Requirements, High-Level Architecture, Database Design, List of online E-Learning sources covering the chosen technologies, and an online virtual server to kick start the project.
- You’ll have six weeks to finish the application. You’ll complete weekly tasks and attend checkpoints to assess progress & provide needed guidance.
3. Winners
- The program/system/application that your team develops will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Fulfilling Project Requirements - Successfully completing, delivering, and fulfilling the project requirements.
- Code quality - ensuring it’s clean and well-documented with no security issues.
- Look & Feel - having an appealing and user-friendly design.
- Innovative Features – the developed program/app/system contains unique and distinctive features.
- All members of the winning team will be treated to valuable prizes!
